The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. Psalm 25:14

Read: Psalm 91:1-9

1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

The psalmist, in our Bible reading, expressed his trust in the Lord and in His protection. In such a time as this, when all system are failing, this assurance is ever dependable. It affirms that God is for us and we can always find security in Him. It takes only the Almighty God to hide us from the enemy and this is why I am never afraid of the activities of the enemies, as long as I remain connected to God. It amazes me when I see what people do in the name of protection; I just can't help but pity them. How can you seek protection from the devil when it is the devil that is after your life? Any other source of protection outside God is wasted effort.

This is why I do not understand how a true Christian lives in fear. How can my father be the Lord of Hosts and I will live in fear. As long as you are on the Lord's side, you have nothing to fear or worry about. The Lord is willing to fight all your battles if you allow Him. God is asking you to be of good cheer and not give in to doubt or despair because He has overcome the world and in Him you are more than a victor. When fears comes knocking on your door, let fear know that it is a wrong door because the Scripture says in Psalm 27:1;

"The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid."

When trouble comes knocking, just call upon the Prince of Peace. Send your problems to Jesus and victory will be yours.

You must make up your mind not to live in fear. You cannot achieve anything tangible with the atmosphere of fear. It takes courage to take your place in destiny. The only person you are permitted to fear is the Almighty God and this is because He is our Creator. Once we give ourselves to the Lord and fear only Him, He will be committed to protecting us from our enemies. Let us run away from the spirit of fear, it is capable of short-changing us. Let us hold unto the Lord for our deliverance. Let us cry to Him in supplication for help and He will hear us and come to our rescue.

They that know their God shall be strong and do exploits.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Joshua 16:1-19:16 and Job 37:1-20

"TB Joshua Couldn't Predict His Building Collapse, How Can He He Say I Will Die In April" - Malawi President Fumes Over TB’s Doom Prophecy

Vanguard has reported that Malawian President Peter Mutharika on Sunday attacked Prophet TB Joshua on their State television over an alleged prophecy that he would die before April 1.
 “I’m told there is a man in Nigeria called Joshua and he is saying that Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe and Peter Mutharika will die before April 1,” he said, referring to TB Joshua.

“Let me tell you, Joshua… you will fail. What you did in 2012 will not happen again this year,” the president told a rally in the capital Lilongwe.

In 2012, Joshua reportedly predicted the death of a president of an unnamed southern African country. Mutharika’s brother, Bingu, who was president at the time, did die within the predicted timeframe, giving the prophesy strong currency in Malawi.

Mutharika did not say when or where Joshua made the latest prophesy.

In January, Joshua reportedly gave a televised prophecy, telling his congregation to pray for the leaders in southern Africa, saying: “End of February to April this year, peculiar months for Southern Africa.”

But Mutharika questioned Joshua’s credentials as a prophet, pointing to the collapse of a guesthouse in his sprawling Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos in September 2014, which left 116 people dead, mostly South Africans.

“Why did he not foretell this tragedy?

“This all shows that he is a liar. He just wants to raise money,” said Mutharika, who is in his mid 70s, pledging to be around in 2019 for the next presidential elections, and in also 2024, when — if reelected — he will wrap up his last term.

Mutharika came to power in 2014 after defeating Joyce Banda.

Banda, who succeeded Bingu Mutharika, made several visits to the Nigerian headquarters of Joshua’s church and once described the evangelist as her “spiritual father

That Majek Fashek And His Emotion Laden Testimony At CLAM on Sunday

'Send down the rain' crooner, Majek Fashek, has said if not for God and the benevolence of Pastor of Christ Living Apostolic Ministries (CLAM) in Omole, Lagos State he would have died an unceremonious death. The pop and raggae was one of the worshipers at the Chuch on Sunday March 13,2016 where he shared the testimony of how God delivered him from drugs and other hard substance.
Speaking during a testimony session, Fashek said with an emotional voice that the Senior Pastor of CLAM, Apostle Wole Oladiyun, and his church stood by him during his trying times.
He said: “My testimony is that Jesus Christ is Lord, Jesus Christ is the Master.
“You know before I went to Abuja for my rehab, Baba Oladiyun here came to my rescue.
“Most church won’t do that.
“May God bless him and keep this ministry.
“Materials and spiritual are two different things because Jesus Christ cannot come from Heaven to heal you.
“This Baba is a correct prophet.”
Fashek said his encounter with Apostle Oladiyun last year brought a turn around to his life.
Speaking during his message, Apostle Oladiyun said it would have been a great disaster if the devil has wasted a talent like Majek Fashek.
He recalled that the Lord burdened him to take up his case and immediately it was announced, the whole world rose up for his rehabilitation.
Describing Fashek as a great legend that will blossom again, Apostle Oladiyun prayed that the Lord will perfect all He has started in the life of the raggae artist.
He said: “Today, Jesus has ransom his life.
“Today, he’s a better person.
“His destiny cannot longer be wasted.”
Olasdiyun called on churches and ministers of God to show godly love to people irrespective of religion, ethnicity and condition.
Apostle Oladiyun lamented that love is fast eroding away from the Church of God, adding: “It’s a pity, the church of God must come return to it roots by loving Jesus and loving humanity.
“Let us show love to people around us – the poor, the downtrodden, the rich.”
It would be recalled that last year, Apostle Oladiyun had asked that Fashek be brought to him for deliverance.
