Naira appreciates to N345/$ as BDCs reject devaluation

The Naira Tuesday appreciated further to N345 per dollar in the parallel market. Meanwhile bureaux de change BDC) operators have voiced their support for the federal government’s position against further devaluation of the naira kicked against further devaluation of the naira.
The parallel market exchange rate, which had been on the downward trend since last week, fell further to N345 per dollar at the close of business yesterday from N375 on Monday. BDC operators said attributed the continued appreciation to increased supply and sharp decline in demand for foreign exchange. “People are coming to the market to sell but there is no demand”, said Taiwo Ebenezer, South West Zonal Chairman, and Association of Bureaux De Change Operators of Nigeria (ABCON). Speaking at a press conference Tuesday, ABCON President, Alhaji Aminu Gwadabe, dissociated BDC from the rapid depreciation of the naira from N265 to N400 in the parallel market saying such developments is not good for the business of BDC. He said, “Depreciation of the naira affects the working capital of BDCs and by extension their turnover. BDCs are able to do more business when the exchange rate is stable and relatively close to  the official exchange rate. Hence, BDCs cannot promote what is injurious to their business. Secondly, BDCs are basically intermediaries. They buy dollars from the public and sell to the public. Our incomes come from the margin between the selling rate and buying rate. To this end BDCs are more interested in turnover than in the exchange rate. We make money from the rate at which we can use our working capital to buy and sell dollars. We make money from the rate at which we can use our working capital to buy and sell dollar.

"Almost 40, Lonely And Bitter" Wizkid, Linda Ikeji in war of words

The social media war between Wizkid and celebrity blogger, Linda Ikeji have reached a new low with a serious allegation of name by the pop star.
Earlier this week, Wizkid endorsed an article by a Lagos lawyer that Linda was suffering from ‘poverty mentality’

Linda retaliated yesterday when she praised rapper, The Game in one of her post for buying designer bag for his baby mama and daughter but stylishly shaded Wizkid by saying “unlike a deadbeat father who hasn’t started to carter for his child.” though she later amended her post by removing the Wizkid diss.

The star boy continued their feud once again via Snapchat by posting a old picture of Linda which he edited and wrote "Almost 40, lonely and bitter! Prayers up for you."

Exposed! The New Olori of Ooni Ile Ife Is Still Officially Married To A Lebanese Billionaire….All Her Dirty Pasts!

It’s not news that the marriage of the new Ooni of Ile-Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan to his wife Bukola has crashed. There have also been multiple reports that the king who was officially crowned on the 7th of December 2015, is set to take a new wife named Wuraola Zainab Otiti.

What however is news, is that the new woman in Ooni’s life who is most likely to become the next Olori has been officially married trice!

Investigations revealed that Zainab whose reveal name was disclosed as Itohan Sonia obanor has been previously married to three notable men and in fact still legally married to one of them!
Amongst Zainab’s three previous husbands was SaminuTuraki, the former Governor of Jigawa state who has so many impending cases with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC.

This news room gathered that Zainab was traditionally married to the Governor for few years while he was in power before the marriage packed up in a very messy way no thanks to the scandal of her twin pregnancy.

Those in the know revealed that the pregnancy wasn’t for the then Governor following rumours of his impotency. The marriage crashed shortly after she had the twins who sadly died at birth.

The lady who allegedly drop out of University of Benin was further linked to be the mistress of ex Deputy Senate Majority Leader, Abdul Ningi for a while. The Senator we gathered got Zaniab a fully furnished apartment in Apo Senators Quarter aside investing in her clothing business before the affair crashed due to infidelity allegations

A Lebanese billionaire named Eli Khoury was the third man linked to the new wife of the Ooni of Ile-Ife and Zainab’s marriage to Eli allegedly packed up mid last year 2015 though legally yet to be disolved. Zaniab who is revealed to be in her early thirties and from Benin, we further gathered, met Eli shortly after she relocated to Dubai and until last year 2015, still flaunts him as her husband.

This brings me ask when and how the Ooni got entangled to the point of proposing to this highly controversial lady? did the Ooni have the full knowledge of who his next Olori is? and finally why did she totally change her name from Itohan Sonia Obahan to Wuraola Zainab Otiti if she has nothing to hide? Lots of questions for the young Ooni.
